1 1/2 cups boiling water

1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
For the Topping:

1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp milk
Instructions:
