Ingredients:

Flour: 650 g (about 5 cups)

Sugar: 1/2 cup (100 g)

Instant Yeast: 2 1/4 teaspoons (7 g)

Warm Milk: 1 cup (240 ml)

Butter: 1/2 cup (113 g), softened

Egg: 1 large

Salt: 1 teaspoon (5 g)

Ground Cinnamon: 2 teaspoons (6 g)

Chopped Nuts (e.g., walnuts, pecans): 1/2 cup (60 g)

Brown Sugar: 1/2 cup (100 g), packed

Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon (5 ml)

Instructions:

Prepare the Dough:

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Stir in the warm milk, softened butter, and egg. Mix until a dough begins to form.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. You can also use a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment for this step.

Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours or until it doubles in size.
