Introduction:
Aloe vera juice is a natural, soothing drink packed with health benefits. Known for its cooling properties, it aids digestion, hydrates the body, and gives your skin a healthy glow. This homemade version is easy to make and contains no preservatives—just pure, fresh goodness passed down from Grandma’s kitchen!
Ingredients:
1 large aloe vera leaf (fresh, mature)
1 cup filtered water or coconut water
1–2 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional)
1 tbsp lemon or lime juice (optional, for flavor)
A few mint leaves (optional)
Instructions:
Wash the aloe vera leaf thoroughly. Pat dry.
Cut the thorny edges off both sides and peel off the green skin on one side.
Scoop out the clear gel using a spoon. Avoid the yellowish layer beneath the skin—this can be bitter and cause digestive discomfort.
Rinse the gel under cool water to remove any remaining latex.
