How To Make An All-Natural Tick Repellent Spray

There are many great things about summer, but dealing with bugs, particularly ticks, is a major drawback. There are a number of reasons why you should avoid tick bites, but the most important is the risk of acquiring Lyme disease. Ticks that spread the Lyme disease aren’t simply a problem in remote areas. You may find them in your backyard, in the park, or in any area with tall grass. This is why taking all necessary precautions to avoid tick bites is of the utmost importance.

Luckily, it’s not hard to whip up an all-natural tick repellant spray. Cedar is an odor that ticks find repulsive. Additionally, essential oils of cedar are widely available. Combine fifteen to twenty drops of cedar essential oil with half a cup of water and a splash of witch hazel to create a tick repellent spray that you can produce at home. Before heading outside, add the solution to a spray bottle and mist your skin and clothing.
