Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced (or shredded)
1 package (30 oz) frozen hashbrowns, thawed
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom soup for a vegetarian version)
1 cup sour cream
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs (for topping)
Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray to prevent the casserole from sticking.

Prepare the Chicken:
If you haven’t already cooked the chicken, season it with salt, pepper, and a pinch of garlic powder, then bake or sauté it until fully cooked. Once done, chop or shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
