It’s simple to prepare, full of flavor, and sure to impress everyone at the table.

Ingredients:

1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
12 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions:

Cook the Pasta: Start by boiling a large pot of salted water. Once boiling, add the fettuccine (or your pasta of choice) and cook according to the package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water for later.

Prepare the Broccoli: While the pasta cooks, steam the broccoli florets. You can either steam them in a steamer basket or microwave them for about 3-4 minutes, until tender but still bright green. Set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Allow it to cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.

Add Cheese and Seasonings: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce becomes smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using).
