Instructions:
Step one: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the flour in a large basin.
Combine the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla essence in a separate dish and whisk until smooth.
Stirring constantly, gradually combine the wet and dry components.
Gently combine the brown sugar with the diced apples and mix until evenly distributed.
Drop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring a little space between each scoop.
To get perfectly cooked, golden fritters, bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
