To be able to reuse it in the following days and not let the smell evaporate too much, you can cover the bowl with plastic wrap and make small holes with a toothpick so that the smell dissipates very slowly. In fact, you can take this solution and pour it through a strainer, thus removing the minced garlic. So now you will have a garlic water with toothpaste that you can pour into a spray bottle and use to clean the oven door or anything else in the kitchen. But this strained solution can also be used on plants to keep insects away .
