As every year since Emmanuel Macron was first elected President of the Republic in 2017, the presidential couple spent their summer vacation at Fort de Brégançon. The Head of State and the First Lady then returned to Paris for the end of the Olympic Games. They went to Bercy on Saturday, August 10, 2024 to support the French basketball team, which was playing the final of the Olympic tournament against the United States.
That day, Brigitte Macron had chosen a rather unusual outfit that was highly noticed in the stands of Bercy. The First Lady wore a white blazer associated with the official jersey of the French basketball team. According to the analysis of Vogue magazine, Emmanuel Macron’s wife gave in to the “Patriotcore” trend, which was born during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
