CABBAGE AND EGGS

Cabbage with eggs has a ton of health advantages in addition to its delicious taste. Cabbage is an antioxidant-rich, low-calorie vegetable that is also high in vitamin K and fiber. The addition of eggs, which are rich in protein and other minerals, transforms this meal into a nutritional powerhouse. This dish is adaptable enough to serve as a light lunch, a basic supper, or a quick breakfast. Additionally, it’s an excellent method for minimizing food waste and maximizing the usage of your purchases by using any excess cabbage you may have.
Cabbage with eggs is great since it can be made in a variety of ways. It works well on its own or as a main course with a selection of sides for a heartier dinner. A piece of toasted whole-grain bread would be a great accompaniment; the crunch would go well with the soft cabbage and eggs. Add a splash of your go-to spicy sauce or some chopped fresh herbs (parsley, chives, etc.) to amp up the taste. For a more substantial alternative, try it with roasted potatoes or a fresh salad for a well-rounded and filling dinner. Cabbage with eggs will quickly become a go-to recipe no matter how you prepare it.
One tablespoon of either olive oil or butter My preference is for a hybrid of the two
1 minced clove of garlic
The recipe calls for 1 cup of finely shredded cabbage, 2 eggs that have been softly beaten, and salt and pepper to taste.
WHAT TO DO:
On medium heat, warm a pan that doesn’t stick.
Coat the pan with the butter and/or oil.
After about 20 seconds, add the garlic and let it to start to smell.
Toss in the cabbage and simmer, turning constantly, for three to five minutes, or until it begins to soften. For my taste, I like to let mine simmer for a further minute or two until it starts to become a light caramel color.
Evenly distribute the cabbage.
Scatter the eggs evenly by pouring them into the pan while tilting it slightly.
The eggs should to be cooked for a further fifteen to twenty seconds before being delicately folded over.
Take off the stove and put it in the oven right away!
