Chocolate Banana French Toast Recipe

Preparation :

In a small bowl, mash your banana with a fork. Add the chopped chocolate and mix well.

Place 2 slices of bread on the work surface. Spread the banana and chocolate mixture on each of them and close the two slices. Don’t worry if the mixture overflows a little from your “sandwich”, this is normal.

In a shallow bowl, mix together the eggs, crème fraîche, maple syrup and vanilla extract.

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Dip your sandwich into the egg mixture on one side, then the other.

Place your sandwich in the hot pan and cook for 1 minute on each side. The side should be golden brown and the chocolate should start to melt.

Cut in half before serving, and sprinkle with icing sugar, maple syrup or cinnamon powder to taste.
