Interviewed by 20 Minutes the day before the launch of this new show, Cristina Cordula gave the real reasons for the end of Reines du shopping. “It’s not that it’s over, it’s just that we did it for ten years and at some point it’s good to bring something new,” explained Enzo’s mother. “I love this show, I had fun on it and I still have fun but we wanted to come up with a different concept.
It is also important to come with this second hand because people are not yet aware of it. There is still work to be done. It is a new subject in the field of shopping that we found relevant,” she added.
So while the show Les Reines du shopping has not been definitively buried, it is not likely to return anytime soon. “I don’t think we would do both at the same time, otherwise it would take a whole afternoon. It’s good to vary, even for me, I like to come up with new things,” explained the presenter. And too bad for the fans of the fashion competition!
