Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count)
1 egg (for egg wash)
Optional toppings: pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, or any other desired toppings
Instructions:

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat, then add the chopped onion. Sauté for about 3 minutes until softened.
Season the Mixture: Stir in the ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.
Prepare the Dough: Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the crescent rolls. Unroll the dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
Assemble the Pockets: Place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center of each crescent roll triangle. Sprinkle with shredded cheese, and fold the dough over to form a pocket. Pinch the edges to seal them securely.
Bake: Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each pocket for a golden finish. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the pockets are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve: Allow the pockets to cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Optionally, serve with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, or any of your favorite burger toppings.
