What You Need: One tablespoon of olive oil
a pound of ground pork (or fowl)
1 chopped tiny onion
minced garlic (three cloves)
1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger
5-quarts of chicken broth
Roughly four cups of shredded cabbage, half a head
julienned or shredded two big carrots
(plus more for garnish) three thinly sliced green onions
2-tbsp of black bean sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
One teaspoon of sesame oil
Adjust with salt & pepper as desired.
Crispy wonton strips, scallions, and sesame seeds are optional garnishes.
