Chopped green onions for garnish
Directions
1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, ketchup, olive oil, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes until well combined.
2. Season the chicken drumsticks with salt and pepper, then place them in the slow cooker.
3. Pour the sauce mixture over the drumsticks, ensuring they are well coated.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
5. Once cooked, preheat your oven to broil.
6. Carefully transfer the drumsticks to a baking tray lined with foil.
7. Spoon some of the sauce from the slow cooker over the drumsticks.
8. Broil in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the glaze is sticky and slightly caramelized.

9. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier kick, add a tablespoon of Sriracha or your favorite hot sauce to the sauce mixture. If you prefer a more citrusy flavor, squeeze the juice of one lime into the sauce before cooking. For a gluten-free version, use tamari instead of soy sauce. You can also experiment with adding a tablespoon of sesame oil for a nutty aroma. If you don’t have a slow cooker, you can bake the drumsticks in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 45-50 minutes, basting occasionally with the sauce.
