Ingredients:
1 cup spinach or kale (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cucumber, peeled and chopped
1 green apple, cored and chopped
1/2 lemon, juiced
1-inch piece of ginger, peeled
1 celery stalk, chopped
1/2 cup coconut water (or regular water)
1/2 teaspoon spirulina powder (optional for extra detox benefits)
Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled juice)
Instructions:
Prepare Your Ingredients:
Wash and chop the spinach or kale, cucumber, apple, celery, and ginger. If you’re using fresh lemon juice, cut and juice the lemon. For a smoother texture, you can peel the cucumber, but leaving the skin on will provide more fiber and nutrients.
Blend the Ingredients:
Add all the ingredients (spinach/kale, cucumber, apple, lemon juice, ginger, celery, coconut water, and spirulina powder, if using) to a blender.
Blend on high for about 30 seconds or until smooth. If you prefer a thinner juice, add more coconut water or regular water to reach your desired consistency.
Strain (Optional):
For a smoother juice, you can strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or nut milk bag to remove any pulp. If you like your juice with a bit of fiber, skip this step.
