One of the most underappreciated household items is baking soda. Dissolve one part baking soda in four parts water to bring back the whites’ original brilliance. Leave the garment to soak for at least an hour in the solution. Wash in the machine as usual when the allotted time has passed.

Put six or seven crushed aspirins in a sink or washbasin. Put some water in the sink and let the whites soak for a few hours. Wash it afterwards according to your usual routine. Whitening white garments and removing stains with aspirin are two of its many uses.
