Wax and silicone earplugs easily adapt to the shape of any ear, so some may find them more comfortable than foam earplugs.
1. Before using the earplugs, wash your hands thoroughly and dry them with a towel.
2. Remove the caps from their packaging and gently peel off the cotton surrounding them by rolling the ball between your fingers.
3. Place the wax ball in the palm of your hand and heat it until the material becomes more flexible.
4. Form small cones with the plugs and gently insert them into your ears.
5. “Iron” the outside of the wax plugs with your fingers to ensure they are sealed.
❗ Please note that the plugs should not penetrate deeply into the ear canal. They just have to cover it well.
✅ To remove the plug, press lightly on the back of the ear canal and then remove the object from the ear.
How to put on reusable earplugs
Molded plugs are made from thicker, less flexible materials, such as rubber. They are pre-shaped for your ear and you just have to find the right size for you.
1. Always read the instructions on the packaging before trying to insert these plugs. Different shapes may require slightly different fitting techniques.
2. Place one hand behind your head and gently pull on the top edge of your ear.
3. Place the plug in the ear canal and begin to insert it deeper with a gentle rocking motion. Continue the action gently until the ear canal closes.
