Maëlys: six years after his disappearance, the sad news has just hit her father, it’s awful.

“I fought my whole life to build a family and in the space of a second,  I lost everything.  My life was shattered. It’s very hard,  even today , more than  four years later  ,”  confided Maëlys’ father before the hearing opened.

FOUR YEARS LATER, JOACHIM DE ARAUJO STILL HAS NOT RECOVERED

More than four years after the murder of Maëlys de Araujo, her father still bears the  burden of grief.  Me Boguet, his lawyer, had highlighted his impressive  physical transformation  during the penultimate day of Nordahl Lelandais’ trial, on February 17, 2022.

 On the BFMTV news channel ,  Dominique Rizet, police-justice consultant, returned to his plea in  Le Live Toussaint . He declared  ”  the father of Maëlys , who is  a man drained of his substance , a man who has  lost so much weight .”

A TRANSFORMATION THAT DOES NOT GO UNNOTICED

Then he continued by saying:  ”  He lost  25 kilos  and Mr. Boguet specified that these 25 kilos that Joachim lost are  the  weight  that  his daughter  Maëlys weighed .”  This  heartbreaking coincidence  did not go unnoticed by the jurors.
