6 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on for maximum flavor)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
¼ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Season the chicken thighs with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Place the chicken thighs in the skillet, skin-side down, and sear for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Flip the chicken and sear the other side for an additional 3 minutes.
In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, honey, and Parmesan cheese.
Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet and bring to a simmer. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for another 5 minutes.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
