Natural Earache Relief: The Garlic Clove Remedy

Introduction:
Garlic isn’t just a powerhouse in your kitchen—it’s been used for centuries for its medicinal properties. One lesser-known but surprisingly effective remedy involves using a garlic clove to help soothe earaches. This traditional method may sound odd, but it’s rooted in garlic’s natural antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. If you’re struggling with mild ear discomfort, this simple home remedy might be worth a try.

Ingredients:

1 fresh clove of garlic (organic if possible)

Clean gauze or cheesecloth

Olive oil (optional, for added soothing effect)

Instructions:

Peel the garlic clove and trim it to a size small enough to comfortably rest at the entrance of the ear, not inside the ear canal.

Wrap the garlic in a small piece of sterile gauze or cheesecloth to prevent direct contact with the skin and reduce irritation.

(Optional) Warm the clove slightly by holding it in your hand or placing it near a warm (not hot) surface—never use a microwave.

Lie on your side with the affected ear facing up.
