No-Way Nori Nachos – A Seaweed Snack Surprise!

Introduction:
“No way… I had zero idea!” That’s exactly what people say when they try these unexpected, umami-packed Nori Nachos. A twist on the traditional tortilla chip snack, this version uses crispy roasted seaweed sheets, topped with bold flavors and satisfying crunch. It’s the perfect fusion of East meets West — light, addictive, and shockingly simple to make.

Ingredients:

10 sheets of roasted seaweed (nori)

1 tbsp olive oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 cup shredded cheddar or vegan cheese

1/4 cup pickled ginger, chopped

2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

1 small avocado, diced

Optional: 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari for drizzling

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Cut each sheet of nori into quarters to make chip-sized pieces.

Place nori pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Lightly brush with oil and sprinkle with sea salt and smoked paprika.

Bake for 8–10 minutes until crisp but not burnt.

Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Let the cheese melt from residual heat or place back in the oven for 1 minute.

Top with pickled ginger, sesame seeds, and diced avocado.

Serve immediately with a drizzle of soy sauce if desired.
