12 egg whites, at room temperature
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed orange juice
1 teaspoon orange peel, grated
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Creme of Tartar (cream of tartar) or 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Ingredients for the passion fruit syrup:
1 cup (approx. 240 ml) fresh passion fruit juice
1/2 cup (approx. 100 g) sugar
Juice of half a lemon
