Ingredients (Supplies Needed):
White distilled vinegar
Baking soda
Hot water
A large basin or your washing machine
A drying rack or clothesline
Instructions:
Prepare Your Towels: Begin by gathering your used kitchen towels. Make sure they are free from any large food debris or particles. Shake them out to remove any crumbs or dirt before washing.
Soak in Hot Water: Fill your washing machine or a large basin with hot water. The heat helps loosen any dirt and grime stuck in the fibers of the towels, making the cleaning process more effective.
Add Vinegar: Pour about 1 cup of white distilled vinegar into the water. Vinegar is a natural disinfectant and deodorizer, which helps eliminate bacteria, germs, and unpleasant odors. It will also help break down any grease or oils that might have accumulated on the towels during use.
Add Baking Soda (Optional): For extra freshness and stain-fighting power, sprinkle half a cup of baking soda into the water along with the vinegar. Baking soda helps brighten the towels and acts as a mild abrasive, lifting stains without damaging the fabric.
