Introduction:
If you’ve ever thrown a party and watched your favorite dish disappear before you could even grab a second serving, then you know the importance of making enough. Whether it’s a casual get-together, a holiday celebration, or a game day feast, certain dishes always go fast. So, after the success of my last party, I decided to make a triple batch of this crowd-pleasing snack. It’s quick to whip up, packed with flavor, and guaranteed to vanish just as quickly. This recipe is perfect for parties, family gatherings, or anytime you want a dish that’s both easy to make and irresistible. Let’s dive into how to prepare it!
Ingredients:
6 cups of your favorite snack mix (pretzels, Chex cereal, crackers, etc.)
3 cups of mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, peanuts, etc.)
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
1 cup butter (melted)
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon mustard powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a spicy kick)
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Begin by preheating your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Snack Mix:
In a large mixing bowl, combine your snack mix (such as Chex cereal, pretzels, and crackers) with the mixed nuts. Make sure the ingredients are evenly mixed so every bite gets a balance of flavor.
Make the Seasoned Butter Sauce:
In a separate bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or on the stove. Once melted, stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, mustard powder (if using), cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt. Whisk everything together until well combined.
