Velvety Banana Bliss Cake with Cream Cheese Cloud Frosting

Preheat & Prep:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan or a round cake tin.

Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.

Cream the Base:
In a large bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla and mashed bananas until smooth.

Combine & Mix:
Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with the sour cream. Mix until just combined—don’t overmix.

Bake It Up:
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely.

Make the Frosting:
Beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Beat until light and fluffy.

Frost & Serve:
Once the cake is completely cool, spread the frosting generously over the top. Slice, serve, and savor the banana bliss!
