Introduction:
Threading a needle can be frustrating, especially when the thread frays or the eye of the needle is tiny. Luckily, with just a bottle cap and a few everyday items, you can create an easy-to-use needle threader in minutes! This DIY solution is inexpensive, simple, and perfect for crafters of all skill levels.
Ingredients (Materials Needed):
1 clean plastic bottle cap (any size)
Thin wire (like jewelry wire or a twist tie with the paper stripped off)
Scissors or wire cutters
Hot glue gun (optional for extra durability)
Instructions:
Prepare the Wire:
Cut a piece of thin wire about 6 inches (15 cm) long.
Shape the Wire:
Fold the wire in half to create a loop. Make sure the loop is small enough to fit through the eye of your needle but large enough for thread to pass through easily.
Secure the Wire to the Cap:
Poke a small hole in the center of the bottle cap (you can use a sharp object like a nail or scissors). Insert the two wire ends through the hole from the inside of the cap so that the loop sticks out the top.
